Other Areas of the Layout
In this section are pictures that did not really fir in
the other sections of this site.
I decided to place a castle ruin on a hill in the back corner of the
layout.
Here are two pictures the initial mounting of the castle
And here it is finished. I used some old scrap Styrofoam to
elevate it then covered the hill with "sculptamold"
Some paint and a few trees and bushes were then added.
I got two Brawa floodlights and mounted them on small pads made of
plaster to illuminate the ruins at night.
Did the final (I hope) touch up on the rockface for the castle hill and
the tunnel faces
