How about Labcounts? Cafecounts? Or the Penn State Center for Academic Computing? We are trying to locate all of our PSU CAC Lab Op coworkers, comrades, and cohorts. If you know how to reach any of them, email me at snowman@sem-co.com or pass this URL along to them. We're also having a hard time remembering names and faces, age is setting in...

If you happen to be one of these unique persons, get yourself logged onto #msgops2 on our IRC server. Info on it is located here. It ain't VM, but it is the closest thing to our old online community that we are likely to get. Even if you can only log in during your lunch break, we'd be glad to have you join us.

Time has flown, and I have been so busy the past two years, that I have been *very* remiss in updating things around here.

Other interesting stuff we've dug up so far.

Also of interest would be scanned in pictures of people, pictures and maps of labs, (including the labs on the other side of College Avenue: Surf Club, Cafe, Zenos...), stories of the folks who graced the HDS terminals, those infamous farewell emails, anything that would give a glimpse into the lively subculture of student life that we had behind the counter in Willard. Email them all to me, and I'll start putting together an online scrapbook of sorts. Tales of the Willard Op Desk...

Ops who have been hunted down and made an IRC appearance so far are:

Oh yeah, VSOHRE and VSOMS too, but be careful talking to or about them.

For now, let's close with this cheesy grin.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
