Part of the construction included a hidden stockyard for storing trains not
in use
Stockyard under construction
The stockyard is pitched to allow cars to roll freely into
the yard from the top. Also, there is a hatch for access to the back corner of the
layout. The helix to go from this level to the station level will go
around this hatch.
